Artist Canvas - Das Exhibition 1.5 Canvas 20x20(Inches)

$32.26 $37.95
Introducing the Artist Canvas - Das Exhibition 1.5 Canvas 20x20 (Inches), specifically designed for artists who demand quality and performance. This premium canvas is crafted using the highest standards, featuring a medium weight and medium grain surface suitable for various painting techniques including oil, acrylic, and mixed media. Each canvas is made from 100% natural long fibre cotton, ensuring superior durability and flexibility. The unique weaving of double warp yarns and single weft yarns guarantees a stable structure that artists can trust.

What distinguishes the Das Exhibition canvas is its innovative construction. Unlike conventional canvases, it is not rinsed with alkaline, which helps preserve the natural tone vibrant. The artist-grade wooden frame is built from warp-resistant timber, rigorously stored under natural conditions for six months to enhance its stability. This attention to detail extends to the canvas surface, which is primed three times with an acid-free acrylic ground (acrylic gesso). This priming not only protects the canvas but also creates an ideal painting surface, allowing paint to absorb properly for long-lasting results.

Whether you are a professional artist or a passionate hobbyist, the Das Exhibition Canvas 20x20 is your perfect canvas choice. Elevate your artwork with this exceptional canvas that stands out for its quality, reliability, and artistry!

Artist Canvas - Das Exhibition 1.5 Canvas 20x20
das canvases are manufactured using the finest materials available to create an economically priced product. They have been developed to ensure
a stable structure with a medium weight, medium grain canvas to meet the needs of many different painting techniques.
das canvas is manufactured using a 1% natural long fibre cotton, woven with double warp yarns and single weft yarns. The strength of the
canvas is based on the yarn thickness, closeness of construction and fibre quality. It is not rinsed with alkaline which helps maintain its natural
tone and flexibility.
The wooden frame is constructed using a warp resistant timber which has been stored for six months under natural conditions. The wood is then
soaked, degreased and kiln dried to ensure the firm structure of the frame.
The fabric is primed three times with an acid free acrylic ground (known as acrylic gesso). This seals and protects the canvas creating a
receptive surface for the paint to adhere to. The proper size ground and primer are essential for achieving a long lasting painting. "A painting is
done on the primer that has been applied to the canvas". Paint absorbs into the primer, not the canvas fibres. For additional luminosity, it is
recommended applying additional primer compatible with the paint you intend to use.
