Artist Canvas - Das Exhibition 1.5 Canvas 10x10(Inches)
Constructed from 100% natural long-fiber cotton, the Das Exhibition canvas features a medium grain texture, allowing for excellent paint adhesion and superior color vibrancy. The double-warp and single-weft yarns contribute to a strong and resilient fabric, ensuring your artwork looks beautiful for years to come.
Our canvases are primed three times with an acid-free acrylic ground, known as acrylic gesso, providing the perfect surface for your creative expression. This priming process guarantees that the paint adheres flawlessly, enhancing the luminosity and depth of your artwork.
The wooden frame is expertly crafted from warp-resistant timber, ensuring a stable structure. Each piece undergoes thorough treatment—soaked, degreased, and kiln-dried—before assembly, allowing for a firm yet flexible frame that will support your creativity.

Artist Canvas - Das Exhibition 1.5 Canvas 10x10
das canvases are manufactured using the finest materials available to create an economically priced product. They have been developed to ensure
a stable structure with a medium weight, medium grain canvas to meet the needs of many different painting techniques.
das canvas is manufactured using a 1% natural long fibre cotton, woven with double warp yarns and single weft yarns. The strength of the
canvas is based on the yarn thickness, closeness of construction and fibre quality. It is not rinsed with alkaline which helps maintain its natural
tone and flexibility.
The wooden frame is constructed using a warp resistant timber which has been stored for six months under natural conditions. The wood is then
soaked, degreased and kiln dried to ensure the firm structure of the frame.
The fabric is primed three times with an acid free acrylic ground (known as acrylic gesso). This seals and protects the canvas creating a
receptive surface for the paint to adhere to. The proper size ground and primer are essential for achieving a long lasting painting. "A painting is
done on the primer that has been applied to the canvas". Paint absorbs into the primer, not the canvas fibres. For additional luminosity, it is
recommended applying additional primer compatible with the paint you intend to use.
