Delmaine Capers
The buds of the caper plant, these culinary must have area staple of mediterranean cooking. The smaller a caper is the more intense the flavours; delmaine capers are surfines, the second smallest available. Capers add a salty savoury taste to any dish, but are best known for adding flavour to italian and greek sauces, soups and stews, plus of course being a main ingredient of the classic french tartare sauce. Fried capers are a taste treat that are delicious in salads or served with fish.
