This Greenstone pendant is a beautiful piece of Maori jewellery. Carved from genuine Nephrite Jade. Makes a wonderful Kiwiana gift or NZ souvenir. This Maori necklace is strung on a traditional black wax cord. The height that the pendant hangs at can be adjusted using the sliding knots. Each carving is supplied loose in a plastic bag. As each piece is individually carved slight variations can occur.

A taiaha is a traditional weapon of the Maori of New Zealand; a close-quarters staff weapon made from either wood or whalebone, and used for short, sharp strikes or stabbing thrusts with efficient footwork on the part of the wielder.

The Tiki represents the human form and one's ancestors. Traditionally passed from parent to child or used for protection and good luck
