This bone carving earring is a beautiful piece of Maori jewellery. Features paua shell accents as the eyes of the Tiki. The part below the tiki represents a spear (Taiaha) tip. These Maori earrings have been handcrafted from beef-bone. Each carving is supplied on a card in a plastic sleeve. Each piece is individually carved so slight variations can occur.
The Tiki represents the human form and one's ancestors. Traditionally passed from parent to child or used for protection and good luck.
