The Footprint Masons Stone Chisel can be used to smooth the rippled surface left by scotching sometimes known as an edging-in chisel or to split blocks. Made in Sheffield Britain. Heavy duty design to survive the toughest jobs; fully forged head handle and blade. Extra thickness to provide superior strength and durability. Hand ground edge for a sharp cutting blade. Specially hardened and tempered blade for a longer working life and to hold the edge after many uses. Domed head to delay splintering from continued striking with a hammer. Fitted with high visibility strong protective plastic moulded grip for added safety.
