Petrole and Odorless Petrol are mineral essential mediums extracted from petroleum. They are effective in controlling the concentration and flow of emulsions and can provide a smoothness similar to watercolor painting. It is a volatile oil that has been highly refined and dries very quickly, so caution must be taken because when using it in excess as it will reduce gloss and durability. Petroles are meant to be used with linseed oil and poppy oil, which are drying oils, in a 1:1:1 ratio in oil painting. It is recommended that you gradually increase content according to the technique you intend to use. ShinHan Odorless Petrolehas no smell.
