This theory and practical course will give trainees the ability to rescue an individual from a "pole like structure". This course will be designed specifically for the site. It will take into account the type of work being carried out with content structured accordingly.
Unit standard 17025 Carry out a rescue from an electrical structure - level 3, credits 2.
Prerequisites: Unit Standards
10509 - Climb and work on electricity network structures.
26551 - Provide first aid for life threatening conditions.
26552 - Demonstrate knowledge of common first aid conditions and how to respond to them.
Usually delivered in 1 day - Depending on prior learning and unit standards already held.
This is a group course delivered at your site (or ours) and it can be tailored to suit your specific requirements.
We recommend refresher training at least every two years.
