Description
Kubb is a popular outdoor game in which the object is to knock over wooden skittles by throwing sticks at them. Knock over the skittles and the King, but be careful - if you knock over the King before all the other skittles are down, your opponent wins. Kubb can be played either in teams or individually. Kubb is a game that is also known as the Viking Chess. Kubb means wooden block in Sweden's Gothic dialect. It has been around since the nineties and is still playing for years. Did you know that there are even championships in the Netherlands? The first was in 2004 and was won by the Helicopters.
